I have wanted to get some cards printed by Moo for a while so I finally went ahead and ordered my very own moo cards with a basic design to check them out.

I am all chuffed that my portfolio site has been featured on CSS Mania. It's great to get my work out there and recognised by other designers. Being featured on one of these sites really boosts the traffic to your site and it's always good to know what others think of your work even if it is a bit scary at first.

I love ads that really make you think or smile to yourself. Alot of time the idea behind the ad is so simple but yet so effective. Whether it's meant to shock you, make you laugh or confuse you, the fact that it has grabbed your attention means that the ad has worked. Whether or not you'll spend money on the product is another story but rememorable ads which bring a brand to life can be very powerful in the long run.

I always bookmark a site that makes me go 'wow!' Amazing effects, 3D animation and full screen hi-def images make these sites excellent pieces of work. I personally prefer good old XHTML and CSS sites but I still have to admire the work here. I have made this collection of some flash websites from all around the world that you should have a look at.

Elegant, clean and sophisticated websites that simply work. Minimalistic websites aren't necessarily easier to design but can be in fact a difficult style to stick to. Cluttering websites with content just for the sake of it doesn't make much sense and the best way to de-clutter is to only have what the user is looking for and providing a clear navigation if they want to look at something else. Check out my list of some of my favourite clean design websites which have caught my eye.
